My Rates

My rate is based on my experience, education, certification level, and skill set.

I believe in transparency and want to be sure that you are provided with a good-faith estimate of the cost of working with me.

I charge $145 for a full hour-long session, which is an estimated annual cost of $7,250 assuming 50 weeks of sessions. (Keep in mind that the frequency of sessions may decrease as you begin working toward and achieving your goals.)

If your situation prevents you from being able to afford my cost, let’s talk about it. I am able to offer sessions at a sliding scale in a couple ways, including

  • Offering a 50-minute session for $128, a 45-minute session for $114, or a 30-minute session for $90

  • Offering sessions to a limited number of clients at a reduced price of $80 for a 50-minute session.

While these fees are the cost of the therapy session, I will be spending time outside of that hour preparing for our time together, completing documentation, seeking consultation/supervision, attending trainings toward continuing education, and engaging in my own self-care so that I will be better able to support you on your odyssey.

Insurance

Unfortunately, I am unable to accept insurance at this time. Having begun my career in insurance-based treatment centers, I have found that working with insurance means spending more time preparing documentation for and arguing with insurance companies to get them to pay, which takes away from time that could be spent actually doing therapy with my clients.

Because I am not working with insurance companies, you and I will be able to collaboratively determine the terms of your treatment, rather than having this dictated by a third-party. It also allows me to cover the costs of continuing education credits to maintain my certifications and the operational costs of running my practice, as well as affording me a living wage commensurate with the value of the work we are doing together.

For those who are able to financially afford my rate, this helps me be able to offer the more generous sliding scale to those who need it.
